LAP SIDING:
* First course over a 1/4-inch lath strip
*1/8-inch gap between plank and trim, then caulk
*Maximum 1.8-inch gap at joints
* Fasteneres shall be 3/8-inch from plank edge
*Weather resistive barrier required
*Maintain code required grade clearance ( 4-6-inches)
* 1 to 2 -inch clearance from roof
*Minimum1-1/4 inch overlap required
*For face nail application of 9-1/2" wide or less siding to OSB, fasteners are spaced a max. of 12"
*Fasteners must be corrosive resistant, galvanized or stainless steel. Use quality hot-dipped galvenized nails for best result.
*Caulk joints
* HardiPlank must be painted
* Minimum 7/16-inch OSB
